The Programme Coordinator will provide critical support prior and during the programmes running by Oxford Global (specific dates will be confirmed by signing the contract). This position facilitates the smooth operations of the course, supports, and reports to the Course Director.
Under the supervision of the Course Director:
serve as liaison for academic speakers on the course facilitating detailed communications, providing necessary support (i.e. IT), and troubleshooting.
serve as liaison to Lady Margaret Hall conference staff as needed.
lead students to and from their course activities
act as programme point of contact for students answering and/or redirecting questions and information to appropriate staff members.
perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifictions & Skills
Education & Training: Bachelor’s degree; general knowledge of educational course operations is preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in education related work.
Demonstrated programme coordination experience is required.
Desired Skills & Abilities
Experience managing multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
High attention to details and outstanding organisational skills; capable of maintaining and communicating accurate and up-to-date programme records.
Initiative and ability to work both with direction, collaboratively and independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Work Schedule and Pay Rate
Temporary (seasonally during programme running)
£12/hour, include meals, and any transportation costs that may arise.
7-8 hours per day, 2-4 days per week. Paid training sessions prior to the programme and feedback meetings following the programme.
Working Conditions Physical Demands: ability to travel between work locations, including leading students to and from activities on foot and by bus. Personal vehicle use is not required.
